GC -ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for an Electrical Estimator in Nashville, TN.

Electrical Estimator Compensation & Benefits:

Total compensation for the Electrical Estimator is depending on experience, and can range between $110,000.00 and $145,000.00, with total compensation far exceeding the annual base salary.

Electrical Estimator Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely commercial construction project estimates for electrical scopes.
• Identify and compute labor, material, and time costs from proposals, blueprints, and specifications
• Visit project sites and attend pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions and scope requirements
• Review and analyze plans and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical scope
• Collaborate with estimating team to build complete estimates and pricing
• Develop preliminary project schedules
• Coordinate with project management and operations on estimate implementation
• Maintain organized project files and bid documentation
• Track and update estimating databases
• Be a productive member of the Estimating Team

Electrical Estimator Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial construction experience with public, private, or federal projects required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Cost-OS, OST, and Planswift estimating software required
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel, and Word
• Well-rounded knowledge of construction disciplines
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred but Not Necessary:

• Commercial electrical estimating experience
• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Familiarity with additional estimating platforms
• Project management software experience
• Background in data center, high-rise, retail, industrial, or federal construction
• Experience across multiple project types
